We bought 9 pullets in mid February from two places, and have 2 crowing EEs :(. Now I'm worried about our GLW. The GLW looks very different from the SLW, though they are from different hatcheries. The lighting in our garage isnt great, but there is a little more red in the comb and wattles on Goldie.

We can possibly deal with 2 roosters but 3 would be pretty difficult.

Beautiful chickens :)
The comb does look a a bit big. how old is it? Have you seen any long pointy saddle feathers near the tail?

About 10 weeks. We bought them 2 different dayes and some were dsy old and some week old, but I'm estimating 10 weeks.

I'm not sure about feathers. I'm just not that good at spotting that in pics and my first roosters are also 10 weeks old.

I'm leaning toward cockerel, but the small body and legs are befuddling me. Usually males ate more muscular and larger by ten weeks old...
Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

I'm also thinking it may be a cockerel, but I'm not 100% sure. Keep an eye out for different behaviour, saddle feathers and the comb and wattles getting bigger and darker. We will probably have to wait and see to know for sure.

Both look to be pullets to me. Cockerels in laced patterns would have solid white or gold wing bars by this age.

That's a good point, I only have an older glw pullet but her wing bars are not solid.
