i'm based out of asheville nc, and raise a bunch of different chickens all free range. This hen is one of my pride and joys, a nice brown egg layer with double laced silver feathering and a small crest and beard, blue shanks. Big tail held high. All the birds are free range, i run specific roosters thru the flock and practice artificial insemination to experiment with different outcrossings. The crossbred stock are much smarter than the parent stock and have learnt to fly into the trees to harvest berries........ incredible watching evolution and honoured to be a witness.

crossbreeding with goals for free range vigor, fanciful beauty beyond the human grip of life, the picture we paint as chicken enthusiasts should be one other people can easily replicate, the way modern chicken production is handled is in need of our help, it looks to be about time to move back to our original human blueprint, one of nurture and love, one where industry is brought back to our households.

polish, brabanter, spitzhauben, la fleche, fayoumi, campine, hamburg, leghorn, penedesenca, ameraucana, swedish flower hen, lavender EE, dominique, yokohama, barnevelder, wayndotte, russian orloff, d'uccle, sebright, pyncheon bantam, and a tamba quartet of peacocks- purple spalding hens and spalding cock.
i also raise miniature triple purpose sheep - icelandic, shetland, east friesian bloodlines
miniature triple purpose goats- pygora, nigora, saanen, alpine, nubian bloodlines
6 guardian dogs, 4 barn cats, 3 horses to act as donkeys and also I teach dressage and centered horse riding.
