So I just finally found a place to get fresh goat milk. While I was talking to the lady who owns the goats it come up that I will have eggs soon and she suggested trading. I currently get a half gallon a week from her for $5. I was wondering if everyone though that a dozen eggs would be a good trade or if I should give her some cash ($1-2) also?
Thanks for the input.

What are other people selling eggs for in your area?? Maybe you could give her 1 1/2 or 2 dz. Then there would be no cash involved!!

Good Luck!!

I think the going rate is $3. I like the idea of 1 1/2 dozen in trade. Thanks!

$3 is kind of high, at least here....
the highest I have seen here is $2.50 , I have heard of them going as low as $1.50 in other places.
I would personally do 2 dozen, but that is just me.......

I would give her 18 trade for the milk. Eggs around here go for about $3/dozen.

I get $3/dozen plus and empty egg carton. 18 eggs would be an even up trade that no one should be upset about.

well, the feed store sells locals eggs for $2.75
