goat registration question

I bought a buckling this past spring. The owner had just recently purchased the doe. The doe had aparently been bred at the original farm. The owner registered the doe after I bought the kid. I am now trying to register the kid. Am I correct to assume that I need a "service memo" from the original owner. He still owns the sire.

Yes, you need that Service Memo from the breeder.
