Goodness, there is so much to see here! I keep getting distracted. Okay, there have been chickens in my life from time to time throughout the last 62 years. I don't know how many chickens I have, but I know I spent $105 on chickens this week. I learned a ton of info in the last week too! I have a barnyard mix flock and I have purchased some purebred chickens and crosses this week. I now have a pair of FBCM and a pair of BO. I have a sweet little banty who is mature, at least three roos now, and plenty of brown eggs to eat.
I live in Oklahoma and was born and raised in California. I have been here over 9 years and I am still 'homesick' in some ways. I raise purebred LaMancha dairy goats and show them when I can. I retired a few weeks ago and am looking for a part-time desk job close to home. I have two, used still air incubators coming from a goat friend in about a months' time.
Alright, that is much as I care to spew in the first post. I am very blessed to have found this site so early on and have used the site extensively and now I am going to be supportive as much as I am able.
