I am goatwoman from North Texas. I have Rhode Island Reds and three chickens that I have no clue about. I also have Nubian goats. My buck has a chronic cough. I was wondering if any of you chicken people also have goats and might be able to help me out with this coughing problem.

Hi Goatwoman - Welcome, we're new too! Used to have Boer goats, but gave them up in favor of chickens

It's been a few years, but I seem to remember a chronic cough being from (among other things) some type of worms. Maybe he is just allergic to chickens!

from N. Calif! that chronic cough could be parasites, Im assuming its more than just the hacking up cud to chew?

Welcome from NH!! We don't have goats, but I know some people who raise them for milk. I'm sorry I know nothing about goat diseases or sicknesses
