I have a 4 month old Broad Breasted Bronze turkey named Twister who I think is a Tom, but sounds like a hen. Twister's face will ocasionally get red, but Tornado, my 2 year old turkey hen's face doesn't. Twister has a lumpyer face than Tornado's and the "jibblies"(bumpy thingies) on Twister's neck are a bit bigger than Tornados, and so is Twister's snude. Twister also has slightly darker blue on the back of their head compared to Tornado's. Is Twister a Tom or a Hen?

How you describe Twister sounds like a tom, pictures would be helpful.

I could be wrong, turkeys sometimes keep you guessing. If it's a Tom it should be gobbling and displaying by 4 months unless there are adult toms around, than sometimes they won't.
