Going away for a month, will they remember me when i get back?

I have 8 bantams that i have all raised apart from one from chicks, i love them

I am going on holiday for a month but i am really worried that they wont remember me when i get back.
They are sooo tame now and the follow me around and they love cuddles..
Do think they will remember me??

Yes I think they will...I mean you are like their mother!!

I had to babysit my neibhors chicks for a week and when they came back they surely remembered them!!!But a month is alot longer I know still,they know who you are

Chickens are supposed to remember things.

However when you want to reset the pecking order you separate them for a week or so.

If they do remember you, you'll have to fight you way back up the pecking order.

Maybe you can bribe you way back in with food.

At some point they will accept you back in the flock.

So wave them good-bye
