Leaving California Soon, just not soon enough!
We have just purchased 160 acres in Minnesota and will be retiring there as soon as our home sells on California. I have raised chickens, quail, pheasant, guinea and turkey on a small 4 acre hobby farm many years ago. Plan is to go a little larger now. The property has an abundant supply of turkey. Our land is next to 100 acres of DNR land which is a bonus. I plan on raising some pheasant for release on the property as well as some muscovey ducks to help with insects. I will free range some guineas to add as additional insect control.
We also have an abundance of nice bucks on the property. Hoping our home sells within the first month that it is released to the market!!!
