going to be in Kansas City

Anyone from Kansas City I am going to be there for the lineman's rodeo in a couple of weeks and was wondering what to bring for clothes. Is it still warm or should I forget about shorts altogether?
We went last year but it was in late Oct.

Well it actually hit 90 today and hotter than blue blazes, uggg....It finally rained though for a short time
