Someone posted this picture on a thread:

It seems to be called a gold, or gold wheaten, by Cubalaya breeders. Does anyone know who posted this picture, I would like to read the post again but can't find it. I wonder if it breeds true, and what is the gene that produces the dark red on the wing? It appears different than golden in other breeds that is produced by a combination of silver and red. It has been my experience that silver dilutes red to an orange red as found in goldens of some other breeds.

while Silver does dilute Gold there are genes that can enhance the Red shoulders and back on Silver or Golden(S/s+) birds.. here as an example of a true breeding breed with such a trait(which can be had on Cubalayas because they are also wheaten based) Salmon Faverolle, Based on Silver, and Red enhancers on a wheaten background Salmon Faverolle genetic make up(salmon faverolle roos have the "Duckwing" Phenotype, but hens dont because they are wheaten eWh, not wildtype e+)
here is the Salmon Faverolle rooster(looks golden/Cream/Lemon duckwing)
