Gold Laced Splash vs White Buff Laced

What exactly is the difference between these 2?
How is the White Buff Laced achieved?
How much difference is there between the 2 phenotypically?

The buff laced is gold laced or red laced with one or two copies of the dominant white gene.
The splash gold laced is gold laced with two blue genes.
It seems like dark spots are pretty common on the splash ones. When I looked up splash laced I found some that were called white laced gold but were actually splash, so beware of that. I didn’t find any actual buff laced birds with a search, so I don’t believe they exist.
They could only be produced using dominant white and that is one of the few colors that isn’t apparently present in Orpingtons.

The difference is the feathers black pigment diluter, in Splash two copies of blue turns the black laced edge to white instead, in "Buff" the diluter is dominant white.

Dominant white fades the gold to a buff color, but Splash does not so with Splash the color is richer
