Gold laced Wyandotte??

I purchased some straight run gold laced Wyandotte chicks last spring. One is scissor beaked and the other one has white in its feathers. Anyone know why there is white in the feathers.

Not breeding to the SOP. The white could of easily been selected out.

Agree it's a poor breeding program. Where did the birds come from?

I agree with the others, it is because of poor breeding.

It is still a Golden Laced Wyandotte. Most hatcheries breed from poor gene pools. I've gotten chickens with crooked beaks (like your GLW's beak), missing toes, foreign color (like the white in the GLW's plumage), upside-down toenails, and more.
