Hi everyone!
This is my first time raising chickens! We have 5 different breeds, and they are about 6months old now. The gold sex link started laying large size eggs very early on, sometimes she would make a jumbo one. Recently I started to notice that later in the evening she looked tired, not moving much. Yesterday she laid an egg (her regular size) early in the morning. We took her out to eat some grass a few times and we noticed later in the evening she was acting out again, she just stands there outside I call her to go back to coop and she didn't come. Once we put her inside she was struggling to get something out her back and then we did notice an egg - no shell right underneath. She looked better after and it was bed time. This morning I went to the coop and found another one of her eggs (this time it had a good shell) but look at the picture, it seems to be a little squished on one side? What could this mean?
I'm also adding a pic of this egg and the one she made yesterday.
Thank you

Very sadly the high production birds frequently have reproductive tract issues. Generally they show up in older birds, and hopefully this will prove to be a minor glitch as she is early in her laying cycle.
