Golden Campines

I found some Campines and would like some info before I purchase them. Are they just for looks or will they produce some eggs? How will they get along with my Barred Rocks? How will they do in the Texas heat? any info is welcome.

Mine layed almost as much as my Leghorns, but eggs were not as large. Not sure about handleing the Texas heat, but had no problems with Merryland summer, or winters.
