Golden comet chickens

I found what looks like a fetus of a chicken, but we do not have a rooster. Can a hen produce a baby on her on? It was only about an inch long and had no egg shells or liquids around it. Any ideas?

Welcome to BYC, Dew1220! There is so much to see, do, and learn here! That is not a chicken chick, and it is not a fetus. It is a wild bird hatchling (I do not know what species), and it probably fell out of a nest. Hopefully someone can give you more information and advice!

That is not a chicken.....It looks like a baby bird that fell out of its nest....You will have to find a certified wildlife rehabilitor near you to care for it....Good luck!
