Golden comet not walking, eating, drinking or pooping - do I let nature take it’s course or help it along?

I have a 3 year old golden comet who as been really lethargic for the past 24 hours. Her comb looks dry and is turning purple. She hasn’t pooped since I put her in quarantine yesterday and is not eating or drinking. I’m giving her water with added electrolytes via a syringe but she’s getting worse and no longer walks...only squats or lays down. I’m confident she’s not egg bound and none of the research I’ve done seems to mention all the symptoms I’m seeing with her. She also vomits what little liquid I’ve been able to get into her when I move her (or when I massage her crop). I’m at a loss for what she has, aside from old age since I know golden comets don’t have a long lifespan but I didn’t expect it to be quite so soon! Any ideas? And should I wait and let nature take its course or end it for her (not a fan...!!!).

The squatting would make me think egg bound or reproductive even tho you don't think it's an egg.

A quick search here may be that the comb color could be due to circulation unless it's really cold where you're located. The squatting again makes me think blockage but it could be her heart. It's hard to know

I would probably give her a calcium pill and feel around her vent just to be sure it's not some kind of egg situation. It certainly won't hurt to try that.

Since chickens do not vomit, it sound like the crop may be impacted. Liquid coming out of the beak means it is not going down and reaching the gizzard. I would start treating for impacted crop - which can be a secondary issue caused by other issues.

How does her crop feel now—empty and flat, full, hard, doughy or puffy? Check it again in early morning before she eats or drinks. Be careful not to squeeze the crop accidentally which can make her vomit up crop contents.

Can you insert a clean finger inside her vent to feel for a stuck egg? Also feel her lower abdomen between her legs to see if it is enlarged or puffy?

Also if she does not get better in a couple days sadly i would cull :( your just making her suffer after days of being sick so sorry :(

Thanks for all the suggestions. Yikes it could be pretty much anything!! I like to think I’m doing everything I can to aid recovery and make her as comfortable as possible. I did feel her vent and give her calcium, which is why I’m thinking it’s not an egg. I’ve checked all the obvious items I can think of and her crop feels normal plus no bad breath. She’s definitely declining, but I’m sure part of that is because I can’t get any food in her, only the liquids I’m force feeding through a dropper. And she’s refusing to move at all now. *Sigh*

Oh 10 of mine died from 2019-2020 all 4-5 years and my oldest Amelia Died in augast 2020 at 7 years old but she is not getting enough air
Sorry to hear about your flock. Sorry if this is a silly question, Is she not getting enough air because she’s sitting or a result of whatever is going on?
