Golden Comet x Black Australorp hybrid?

I turned my black australorp roo in with my golden comet hens, and i was wondering what to expect from the chicks.... What will the colors be and what should i expect as far as egg laying. Thanks!

They should be black as adults and since GCs are great layers and Australorps are good too you should get plenty of eggs

Agree you'll have mostly black birds with red and white leakage that will be decent layers.

Agreed. They likely won't match the lay rate of their Golden Comet mothers.
