Im at 25 weeks and not an egg one...LOL they will need to lay golden eggs for me to recover....fortunately we liked them as pets, we went in for eggs and got pets. These girls are RIR/BA X and show signs of laying except for the squatting. My roo is trying to mount them but they wont have any of it. I had one of my clan turn out to be a cockerel and he is going to grandmas this weekend....he is currently seperated because of disruption between the roo and him. Maybe thats why the girls are so slow...I know they arent machines and I dont expect any clockwork here but went in blind and was told in a couple weeks they should be laying.....well its been 7 weeks. I really enjoy them and watching how the roo protects and warns them....they all get along great and love to free range but until they lay for me it will be limited because I want eggs in the nest not the yard.
