Anyone know if I use the golden malrin, and my chickens eat a dead fly will they in turn die also?

I had about a tablespoon in one of the bait stations away from my birds, but somehow they managed to knock/break it down one day. They ate all the flies, and either the blue pellets were lost in the bedding or also consumed. I fully expected to have dead birds by that night. But nothing happened. We threw out the eggs for a month, trying to be safe, because I couldn't find any kind of withdraw information about it.

I would NEVER intentionally feed chickens the dead flies from it though!!!!!!!

You can get the sticky paper towel size glue-tubes for flies (or larger from the horse section) it's non-toxic, and after it's full, put it on the ground for the chickens to peck the flies off of. The glue is non-toxic (says on the label) and it hasn't harmed any of my birds either. Certainly safer than using poison. When the glue trap is in use, hang it where the birds can't get stuck to it when they fly up and knock around, but they don't seem to get their feathers stuck to it when it's laying flat on the ground for them to peck at.

I use a bug zapper in the barn. Every morning the chickens all wait at the door for their buffet breakfast.
