Golden Reds???

I am looking through breeds of chicks I can order through my local feed store and can not find any actual info on these specific birds! This is my first time owning or dealing with chickens and I have many questions! My three big ones: Are they aggressive by nature? Are they good layers? Most importantly are they cold hardy? It gets cold here in central pa.

There is no breed by that name.

This would seem to be a made up name used by a hatchery for either a production red or more likely a red sex link.

Either way, yes, they're likely top notch brown egg layers, popularly used in the brown egg industry. Cold hardy? Reasonably so.
