I have a white crested polish bantam that I got from Tractor Supply. It was injured and not looking like it would make it so they let me just take one and see if I could save him. Well he did quite well so I went back a week later to get some friends and they had none, in fact they think he was just a filler in the box because they had no other polish bantams.

Anyway to make a long story short, that weekend our local feed store had their chick day so I went and got 2 golden seabrights bantams, figuring they would be the same size and could keep each other company. I was a bit short sighted because the are clearly BFFs now and I can not find any polish bantams anywhere.

So my question is, will they mate? if they do mate are these offspring viable? could you sell them? Any information would be great.

Thanks

Yes, they will mate and have viable offspring. You can probably sell them to someone, but don't expect to get the same prices you would get for pure polish or sebrights.
