Goliath

Has anyone here ever heard of or had a Goliath chicken? I've never seen one of these, but a friend is raising some and I wondered whether they are good layers?
Any info.? Pictures?

Hmm... I've heard of a Jersey Giant, but can't say I've heard of a Goliath. Where did your friend get them?
