I have 2 RIR pullets, a RIR rooster and a EE rooster (I know...too many roosters, but they grew up together and seem to be getting along fine now. The EE is the alpha rooster).
Anyway, I want to get a couple more hens because the RIR pullets still have not laid an egg even though when we got them we were told they were ready to lay. So hopefully, any day now....LOL
So, what is the best way to introduce new hens and how soon after getting them?
When any of you get new ones, what do you keep them isolated in and for how long?
I want to get a couple that's already grown and laying so I can have me some eggs...lol
