Hello. I have lost half of my original flock, who were heavier breeds. I didn’t know about the tolerance of heat at the time, and the remaining original flock is getting older. I have gotten some more chickens to keep the egg supply up; and they are Easter Eggers and one Speckled Sussex.
I am looking at options for the next batch of hens. I’m looking for hens that live longer than three years, can tolerate humid climates, and are friendly/tame. Please share any breeds in mind! Thanks.
