Good Morning y'all!!!
I hope everyone is having a great start to the day!
I wanted to take a moment to say hello and share a bit about me well us really lol
Foxy Knoll Farm is located about 30 miles from where the Mississippi River and Ohio River meet and where Mo/Ky/IL/TN/AR.. all join up (we are on the Mo side)
It's hot humid and mostly row crops here.
I have a mix flock of free ranging standard size hens and young pullets mostly Blk sex links & Wyandottes but there's a EE and Buff Orp hen too. My rooster for that flock is a beautiful bared rock gentleman. I have some feb pullets 5 barred rocks and 4 wyandottes that I added this year. And feb standard size Brahmas (4 red and 2 light) first time having standards but I'm in love with their friendly and gentle natures they are buddies with my 2 April EEers as well.
I also have a "wild" group of last year home grown hatching of Silkie/Polish Rooster with 5 polish/EE, Polish/Wyandotte, polish/buff orp hens, they are wild as hay seed in a tornado but beautiful.
I have just started my Silkie/Frizzle flock the last couple of months and I'm enjoying it so much! I've had them before but it's been a while.
Along with the chickens we have 3 spoiled house kitties, 1 barn tom, 1 QH qelding lawmower/Rose plant food maker lol, 1 mini pig, 1 Betta fish, 3 English lop rabbits, And I raise Corgis-Cardigans-Pembrokes and Americans
We have 3 Cardigans, 2 pembrokes and a American(almost full pembroke) we also have a ACD, A cowboy corgi and a Queensland heeler... they all think they are the boss and that my sole purpose in life is to serve them.. most of the time I happily do so lol
I'm currently a self employed caretaker, my boyfriend/best friend is recovering from a traumatic brain injury from a ATV accident that happened in February, so I've had my hands full trying to get him back on his feet and tend to our 5 acre place. He is making amazing progress and we are so thankful and beyond blessed he is still with us. I'm a huge recycler of all things and lover of old junk lol
We have a pallet company up the road (1/2 mile) that gives away pallets and spools best part is they will take apart the pallets of you ask and I've built all my fences, pens etc out of the wood and had to purchase very little items:) we have been lucky to be able to take down or get rolls of wire from junk yards!
I like to garden, craft and been learning metal work lately and love it!!
I guess I better shut up now lol
I also have 3 (6,4,1)nephews and 1 niece (3mts) that are my sisters and 1 step niece(16) 1step nephew(10) and a 2 yr old niece that are my bf"s brothers love them all to pieces!
We only have critter kids :)

Welcome to Backyard chickens. I know Corgis but am unfamiliar with "Americans."
You sure have a lot of your plate to deal with please take time out to relax. Hope you boyfriend will control to make excellent progress.

Hi and welcome! So glad to see another corgi person on here... love the fuzzy buts. And, funny thing is the chicken fuzz kind of reminds me of the corgis, LOL! Corgis and chickens, world's best entertainment!
