I'm not quite new to being a chicken herder, but I'm new to the group. Thank you for allowing me access to you site.
We've been raising chickens for a few years, I started in 2008, as part Therapy and fresh eggs, we've moved from the original place with the first flock and are still doing it 10 years later.
Mainly because I have been disabled and am unable to work. 6 or so years ago we indulged in Ducks, and have enjoyed the laughter and Antics of our swimming foul. One year even brought us Turkeys that I just couldn't get butchered , and they ultimately died by spring...I'm in the Southeast part of North eastern Lower Pinsula, on the Sunrise Side. We've had so many types of birds that it's hard to remember. All chickens our chickens have coops and are kept as pets...
