hi,

This is our first year of raising chickens. We have 16 meat birds and 4 egg layers (Australorps, Red Star and Ameraucana) since mid April. Our meat birds enjoy foraging for food but I do have a few lazy ones that keep going to the feeder in hopes to find a refill of food. We are feed the birds fermented food and doing a deep litter box. I’m looking forward to learning lots from everyone here.
