I home schooled in every room of the house, none of them were 'right'. After eight years I figured public school has plenty of rooms for him to suffer in.
The funny thing is, now that he is in school, I am finally able to find time to go into his bed room and CLEAN.
I used to go in and quickly turn on my heals and scream,"YOU need to clean YOUR room." I gave up easily I guess.
I decided that I would remove one garbage can of 'stuff' a day. I do not mean good stuff, I mean... the empty boxes that computer gadgets came in, or the plastic bags that the mp3 play was purchased in. 'Mementos'
He'll tell me, 'But Mom, I want to remember the day we went and got it.' so, maybe I am dull, but can't he do that when he looks at the mp3 player?
I have a hoarder in the making. I made him watch the show on netflix. He keeps saying he isn't that bad.
not yet.
Oh well, I have another 176 days to unearth flooring.
