Good places to get hens?

What are some good places to look for hens? aka websites, people, places, etc. Four of my poor chickens died and I am looking for 2 or 3 more... I already know of craigslist, anything else?

Stating where you are would help. It's so expensive to ship an adult bird ($50-100) it's hardly worth it unless you are breeding. Go to your state's "where are you?" post and ask there. This time of year, many people have extra birds that they would be happy to sell.
