we consulted with a vet and they recommended for us to supplement Turmeric in the ducks diet (they are completely healthy as far as we can tell it’s just to keep them healthy) so i just wanted to let everyone know how great it is for ducks has anyone else used it before?

I use to put Tumeric into the fermented feed I fed my birds. Your will eat it dry? I have quite a bit left. Just didn't think they'd eat it since it's pretty strong tasting.

I bought a big honking thing of it because I was going to make some kind of "health food" drink or something but it tasted like crap and I quit using it. Mine is in powder form. Do you have any idea how much to give to the ducks? I'd like to use it up!

Thanks for this. I'll put it out in the garden shed and add it to their food bucket just like I do the nutritional yeast.

I'm sure I could but I can't stand the taste of it. I think its used a lot in Indian food which I don't care for at all. I don't like curry either.

Once a week I use hemp seed oil and olive oil mixed an pour over my birds feed I think on that day I’ll put the turmeric I have an mix it in that way it won’t end up on the bottom of the feed pan

I actually cook with turmeric all of the time. It is really good for you. I will have to try it with my ducks as well.
