Good treat ideas?:)

I take some grapes or blueberries and put them in an ice tray with water and freeze it. It keeps them busy and keeps them cool in this heat. I float them in the kiddie pool for the ducks. I have some veggie ones in the freezer for them today. They love them some squash! And yogurt? That stuff is gone almost before I can set the bowl down!

The fun part about yogurt is watching them peck it off each others breaks. They are like kids, they end up wearing a lot of it!

Oh my gosh I would have never guessed they would like yogurt that's great thank you and I will have to try freezing some fruits and veggies also I'm excited to see them with the yogurt!:) thank you for the ideas!

I give them yogurt with a bit of their food mixed in for texture.

If you're in a baking mood, you can google "diy flock block". They're super easy to make and you don't need to be precise with ingredients or measurements. There's lots of variations but I like to use up extra/old produce like apples and pumpkins. I form the blocks in heart-shaped cookie cutters for fun. After you bake a big batch, you can store them in the freezer.

In this hot weather, I've treated the hens to cold fruit, corn on the cob, and bunches of fresh weeds.

I had to let u all know I did try the yogurt and I was shocked at first they didn't know how to eat it they weren't sure of it then I threw some meal worms in it and they finally got it and they LOVED IT thank you for the idea!:)
