Don't beat yourself over this, mistakes happen to the best of us. I can't count how many times I had to restart but every time I learned a lesson. Get some more chicks.

mom said she does not wont to get more chickens because we have lost 4 chickens 3 of them were taken by dogs I dont have a fence for them so it is easy for dogs to get to them

Well you need to get you a PHD (post hole digger) and put yourself a fence in! Even if you only can dig one hole a day and can olnly buy one post a week you will be makling progress. Sometimes baby steps get you where you are going.

There are some simple inexpensive solutions. I used a dog kennel at first, there are ones on craigslist all the time reasonable. I even see free fencing you just have to keep looking. because they go fast.
