Goof found in the Declaration Of Independence

Quite interesting. I think though that historians tend to over analyze documents like this. If Jefferson was anything like me, and someone was talking in the background, he could have just slipped and written the word they were saying instead of what he was actually thinking. Heaven knows I do that all the time!
