Goose Chipped Beak - bleeding

My goose chipped the front 1/8" - 1/4" of her top beak and had been bleeding (no idea how she injured herself). I can see something red inside the beak, though it has now stopped bleeding. The goose is in pain. What should I do for her to avoid infection, heal, and eat? Any suggestions?

I am familiar with chickens not geese, but a chipped beak will be very painful for several days. The main thing is to make sure that she gets enough water and food. Making some of the food mushy and wet and lukewarm may help. The cover of the beak will eventually grown back. If you have pictures that may be helpful.
