Neighbor’s gifted me a goose egg that their golden retriever brought them.
I live between a pond and the river. Happy geese everywhere.
I’m joining to learn how to successfully hatch this egg.

Wow only one egg what do you plan to do with the gosling after it hatches keep it as a pet? Or return it to the group of geese? Honestly, geese need other geese. And if you’re not planning to get other geese eggs or goslings for your baby gosling, I think you should give the egg back to the flock of geese and let them hatch it. It would be a lot easier to return the egg than to try to return a gosling or a goose after it hatches or after it grows so maybe you’re planning on raising it? Quick get some more goose eggs so it will have a friend

If it hatches you will need to find it a companion quickly. Geese are flock animals and don't do well solo.

Hello, if the egg came from wild geese, it may fall under the protected species laws. It might be best to return the egg if possible.
