I am hatching goose eggs on their side in an R-Com with a cradle turner. Is that the correct way to hatch them. I heard that they should not be upright.

I read some where that geese eggs should only be on their side. Is that just for hatching or the whole incubating period?

Shey should be on their sides on lockdown (hatching, not for the whole incubation period). They can be on their sides during incubation as long as you're turning the eggs at least 3 times a day. During lockdown do not turn the eggs. Bring humidity up by adding a warm sponge or washcloth to the incubator or hatcher. For more information, refer to the link on my previous post.
