Goose horribly aggressive towards gosling!

Is it normal for an adult goose to dang near kill a baby goose? Will they ever learn to live in harmony? Never introduced geese before so not sure how to do it properly.

Let the adult and gosling see one another but separated.

Only one Chinese Goose of unknown gender. Very young Chinese Goose, recently feathered out, no knob on beak yet. The youngster paces the fence line where he sees my older goose. Just pines for his acceptance. It's really sad.

They'll learn to like each other, just don't let them together until they are of a similar size.

Good advise, just be patient and let them get use to each other through fencing before you know it they will be in separable.
