Just joined because I read of someone putting in a news goose enclosure. They were talking of putting it on legs because of their terrain. I too am putting up a new house for the goose girls and have a slope issue. I tooneed to know how to keep the floor from "becoming slick when wet. It is wood. Any safe solutions would be much appreciated. Don't want my babies slipping and hunting themselves.

Definitely do some chatting in the Coop and Run forums that Yorkshire Coop has left the link for. You might also ask this question in our Geese section for more help as well...https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/47/geese

Enjoy all your babies and welcome to our flock!

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about geese, but definitely post on the links that the other members have left you with and take advantage of our experts there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your geese and their enclosure.
