Goose laying broody

Might sound stupid but if a goose lays an egg in the same place every other day,does that mean she is doing that with going broody in mind? Or would she do that even if she wasn't a broody kind of goose. Thanks in advance

Not sure about geese, but chickens lay whenever. It doesn't mean that they will go broody. Just something natural.

She’s gone broody if she’s sitting on the eggs, for now she’s just laying.
