geese breed in the spring only (most common domestic breeds), they are not breed sentric and if you have a gaggle of various breeds you are likely to have mixed goslings. If you want pure bred goslings you keep breeds separate during the breeding season.

Yes you can even get domestic crosses with Canada Geese (they are NOT called Canadian geese)
 
Actually I think it depends on where you live. My geese were breeding all last fall. 1 goose even laid eggs, but that isn't necessarily normal. She was young and confused.
