Goose picking on gosling

Have you all ever known a goose that has been in a pen with other geese and another goose hatched off and the goose that didn't hatch off pick at the goslings!? I seem to h ave that problem:/

In a goose flock the goslings inherit the status of their parent at least until they are big enough to have status of there own. goslings from a bird low in the pecking order often don't get treated with respect from a high order goose. They might be driven away from food, water or the pool if it is being used by the high order goose or away from her if she wants to rest etc. If you mean she goes out of her way to pick on the goslings, I have never seen that, and would seperate the flock if I did. I hope this helps.
