Goose with a broken wing

DH accidentally stepped on a gooses wing tonight, wrong place, wrong time, and appears to have broken it. Mainly just the tip, but it is bloody underneath. What should we DO? Leave it alone? Try to tape it? Cull him? He is due to be butchered in another 6 weeks, so I hate to have a vet bill (that is IF I could find a vet that would deal with a mostly wild goose) but I sure don't want him to suffer! He doesn't LOOK to be in pain, eating, drinking, walking and sqwaking with the others... but for all I know he is sqwaking OWOWOWOWOWOW! Suggestions?

If it is bloody wash it well with saline or warm soap water. Clean the wound site and try to use a gentle stream of fluid to remove all debris. Apply neosporin liberally and bind it with clean dressing to help prevent fly strike and maggots.

It should heal.

Do not use blu kote or other types of wound sealers as they are not to be used on animals to be consumed as human food sources.
