West Michigander here. I have a 3 year old bush that has had a lot of trouble producing berries. Last year it was a frost that dropped all the flowers. Which is fine, because it put that energy toward growing. This year we made it without frost and the flowers were pollinated by several different species, especially those big bumbles.
Fruit started developing with green stems and little ovals about a week or so ago. Now the stems are turning reddish and the fruit turns light yellow then falls off. The weather has been very very wet with rain for most of the week, including several downpours with thunderstorms. Nights have been cool but I didn't see anything below high 30's. Everything I've gotten from google says dry spells cause berries to fall or cold but I'm not sure that applies here. Any insight is welcomed.
