Goose's Foot Has Lump and Black Spot

Hello! My young goose (around 12 weeks old) has a large lump on the edge of his foot (along the toe). And there's a black spot on the bottom of it. Is it infected? What could have caused it? And what can I do to treat it? Thanks!

Looks to me like your goose may have stepped on something sharp. Keep an eye on it, if it gets any worse you can soak it in Epsom Salts and wrap it in gauze.
