GORDIE and his birds

Well folks, I have been getting alot of emails about Gordie and wanting his emails, address or anyway to contact him.

I am sorry folks I will NOT give out the information. If you read my old posts you will see that I am requesting his privacy to be known.

Sometimes he will be on Eggbid but it has been rare now. He still will NOT deal with any of the BYC people anymore because of one BYC person.

I am very fortunate to know him and admire him as a person, the honesty and willingness to go the extra mile for most of us who bought his hatching eggs and chicks and chickens.

Its a pity we lost him as one of the important breeders, but look at it this way, some of us BYCers have some of his birds so would you all BYCers please list your Gordie bred or Gordie line birds on here?????

I have no Gordie bred or Gordie line birds anymore in my flock. My last one was the Welsummer hen that passed away about a month ago. She was one sweet bird!

One day I hope to have some of his Welsummers, Blue Rocks, Black Australorps and his beautiful Blue and Black Orpingtons.

Well I am not sure who Gordie is, but it seems that it is selfish to put off others who did no wrong, just because of one person.

Anyway, Gordie sounds like a great guy and I pray that he has 10 fold more blessings of kind acts by others, to try and undo the hurt of that one.

He still does sales and auctions in his state so he still raises birds. So he is not OUT of the picture or out of the poultry hobby. So he decided to go private or "underground" for awhile. Many excellent breeders are like that.

Too bad, I got some gorgeous B/B/S Orpingtons from him.
I tried to share my positive experience but he just ignored me. It's to bad that just because I am a member here that he will have nothing to do with me.

Oh, I don't think he is ignoring you but alot of his emails have been going into junk mail and that is why its hard for him to sort thru it. He is not computer savvy LOL!

At least I can be happy for him with positive results!
