Brought home a seebie gosling not 24hrs old from the feed store today. The guy who works there raises them said they were a surprise. Momma just walked out with them this am. He knew she a nest under the bushes but didn't think they would hatching She is shaking her head and a clear liquid is coming out. She is active peeping and sleeping in my hand right now. Should I be worried? Should I do something? They gave me game bird starter. I also brought home 2 2 week old ducklngs to keep her company. I have ducklings on order but they won't be here for several weeks. New mommy is worried. She is so tiny! She is sleeping on my chest under a towel right now. She has been "yawning" but only 5 or 6 times. Any help please

Ok New daddy, just watch her, if she is eating and drinking and active she should be fine. Sometimes they have to clear out the nasel cavity of any fluid left from hatching/ Have fun with the baby cause they grow up really fast.

Can I ask what happened with this gosling? I just hatched a sebbie gosling this morning and he/she has had some clear nasal discharge and sneezing. I don't know what to do or what it is. I have never hatched a goose, only chickens. Thanks
