Are you giving the gosling niacin? if your not feeding a waterfowl starter then niacin or brewers yeast is a must. It may not even be an injury. You also might try getting some poultry vitamins and adding them along with the niacin to the drinking water. Some times they just have a slow start and need a boost to catch up, faliure to thrive which means the gosling is not growing not active and may not make it, How does your gosling act other than what you described, is it getting plenty to eat? grazing at all? Watch and make sure it can get to food and water and no one is keeping it from it.

He eats drinks swims but has a weak leg.he grazes with the other three. Im feeding chick starter. Where do you get niacin?

If the baby has a weak leg it is from lack of niacin. That is why I make sure to feed game bird grower it has all you need in it. When you choose to feed chicken feed the goslings do not get the niacin they need and it causes them to have weakness in their legs.
You might think about hobbling the two legs so he can walk better. You take like paper tape and go above the leg joint start the tape on one leg and take it all the way over to the other leg and stay behind the elbow joint and wrap around the other leg twice and go over the middle part to keep the tape from pulling down or feathers out. If you just put the gosling on it's back when it settles down the legs are in a perfect position to tape. You make sure hey have room to walk and stand.
This will also help the gosling walk better until the niacin or brewers yeast kicks in. Go to the vitamin area and it is there.....

Just make sure to ask for plain niacin not time released or flush free, some say they asked for it because they keep it behind the counter. 150-200 megs a day to start.
