Congrats! The best part about working for a food industry plant is that people have to eat! The ones around here sell to their employees at a great price and there is rarely shortage of work. Hope Barilla will hold the same blessings for you and your family.

I love pasta too. I'm actually eating some right now. Wifey gonna be mad I'm eating at the puter desk. It's a huge facility but the crews are small enough everyone knows each other by first names.

They work 12 hour shifts with breaks every 2 hours. Work 2 days then 2 off then work 3 days and have 3 days off. I'll actually only work 7 out of 14 days which means less trips to work and less gas usage too.

I just had to tell someone. I'm keeping this from the rest of my family for now. I applied at a place my brother in law worked. I had the job and was going to take the tests and was to start in a week but then I found out in a letter they were not going to hire me. I later found out my BIL said something that made them change their minds. Kinda ticked me off so now I keep everything from my family until I have to say anything. Wife and kids know though.
