I finally got an incubator on the fourth of May. It's not very big. Just enough for a few eggs. But it came with four bobwhite quail eggs. So for my very first hatch I have my 4 quail eggs in the incubator due to hatch on the 29th or 30th. Hopefully I do everything right.

Thank you so far the temp is right where it should be and the eggs seem to be doing well. They have been in the bator 3 days today. So now I am sitting patiently waiting and hoping everything hatches well.

Is it normal to be so nervous when you are hatching? I haven't even made it to day 7 yet and already I am a bunch of nerves. I just keep hoping I don't do anything wrong. I would feel so horrible.

I think so! I haven't even started incubating yet but when I THINK of it my breathing becomes rapid and my pulse races . . . .oh the stress!

Only to day 5 today I am wondering whether or not I should candle or would it be better to just let the eggs keep going?
